Accessibility Policy

Florida law requires websites to meet accessibility standards consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and Florida Statute § 282.601–.606 (Florida Accessible Electronic Information Act) sets expectations for public entities and associations that provide digital access. While condo associations aren’t “state agencies,” best practice (and legal risk management) is to align with WCAG 2.1 AA standards, which Florida courts and regulators recognize as the benchmark for accessibility.
